The Trainer Behind VIPK9
Dogs have been a part of my life for over 25 years, but the way I train has also been shaped by experiences beyond the dog world. Before founding VIPK9, I was a kickboxing coach and fighter, a personal trainer, trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and spent 18 years serving in policing as a Specialist Operations Firearms Officer. Those experiences taught me the value of discipline, consistency, clear communication, adaptability and performing under pressure. They continue to influence how I approach dog training today. My focus isn't on one-size-fits-all methods. It's about understanding the dog in front of me, communicating clearly and building reliable behaviours through strong foundations.
